From March 13 to 17, 2019, SAFIC is one of the organizing partners for the upcoming ‘Abhyudaya Conclave’—a unique multi-disciplinary programme organized by Vision India Foundation and supported by Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Ministry of Culture.
What is Abhyudaya Conclave?
- A five-day immersive know-and-act programme designed for the passionate youth who wish to build and deepen their understanding of the Indian civilization and culture, and want to gather actionable insights for contemporary challenges.
- Includes interactive sessions, debates and discussions ranging from the Vedic tradition and indigenous knowledge systems to the current socio-economic-political needs of the society.
- Facilitates inculcation of conceptual frameworks and much-needed intellectual clarity to effectively navigate the global challenges from a rooted Indian perspective.
- Emphasizes experiencing India as a lived tradition.
- Provides a holistic view of the Indic worldview by synthesizing the intellectual and the aesthetic dimensions.
