Dr Sampadananda Mishra, Director—SAFIC was recently conferred the ‘Literary Excellence Award’ for 2017 by Junior Chamber International, Pondicherry Zone (JCI Pondicherry Metro)—an international citizen network—on October 2, 2017. This award was given to Dr Mishra in recognition of his significant contribution in the fields of Sanskrit and Indian Culture.

Shri Lakshminarayanan, MLA and Parliamentary Secretary to Chief Minister, Chief Guest of the Programme, presented the award to Dr Mishra.
