1. The Income Tax benefits are Applicable in India only
2. Income Tax benefit under Section 35(1)(iii) for Contribution to Sri Aurobindo Society for its Research Activities
  • Corporate Contributors: Eligible for a special weighted deduction of 125% of the amount contributed from the Gross Total Income.
  • Individual Contributors: Eligible for a deduction of 100% of the amount contributed from the Gross Total Income.
3. Income Tax benefit under Section 80G for Contribution to Sri Aurobindo Society:
50% of the amount contributed would be eligible for deduction from the Gross Total Income computed, provided the aggregate of all contributions under 80G does not exceed 10% of the Gross Total Income.
As per the requirements of Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, the list of contributors to Sri Aurobindo Society under FCRA are required to be published online. The details can be viewed here (please click the hyperlink to view file).
