A one-day AuroYouth Camp was organized by Arun Naik and Aneeta Bansal of Sri Aurobindo Society, Noida Branch, at Aarsh Gurukul, Sector 33, Noida on November 10, 2016. Sanskrit language is the primary subject taught at the Gurukul, and 25 youths and children from grades 9 to 11 participated in the camp.
It was an interactive session where the participants reflected on their goals in life. Besides they also discussed role models and their qualities that they would want to imbibe in their lives. It was very heartwarming to note that almost 10 out of the 25 students attending had the desire to become Sanskrit Teachers.
Arun and Anita gave them a talk on the qualities of a leader and a successful human being though a storytelling session, which the participants appreciated and comprehended very well.
Post lunch break, the organizers shared the work and lives of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, and it was noteworthy that some of the participants had already read or heard about them. This was followed by a question–answer session. The camp concluded with Distribution of Certificates and Books on the Mother and Sri Aurobindo.
