Nowgong Branch, Madhya Pradesh
On April 4, 2016, Sri Aurobindo Society’s Nowgong branch celebrated 30th anniversary of the installation of Holy Relics day. On April 4, 1987, the Holy Relics of Sri Aurobindo were enshrined by Shri Chandradeepji. This year a full day’s sadhana shivir was organized to commemorate the occasion. The day started with decoration of Holy Relics Vedika followed by flower offering and collective meditation by the aspirants.
In the pre-lunch session Shri Ambika Prasadji Khare (Panna), the keynote speaker, gave a talk on "Integral Yoga"; Shri Manoj Sharma (Bhopal) shared his thoughts on the topic "Change of Consciousness"; and Shri Pushpendra Nath Pathak, MLA (Bijawar) also spoke on this occasion. A number of aspirants narrated how they came in contact with Sri Aurobindo and The Mother and also talked about the Nowgong branch.
"Youth: The Future of Humanity" was the topic discussed in the second session in which Shri Manoj Sharma was the keynote speaker. The programme was well attended by several young people and aspirants.

The Noida branch of Sri Aurobindo Society (SAS) commemorated the 11th anniversary of the Enshrinement of Holy Relics at Sri Aurobindo Bhavan, Noida by organizing Bhajan Sandhya. The Bhajans were sung by Ms Indrani Banerjee & Tiny Tots, Mr Deepak Srivastava and Mr Gopal Singh Kathayat.

Dr Prabhjot Kulkarni, Ex-Principal, Maharishi Valmiki College of Education, Delhi University conducted workshops on the following topics: On May 7, he gave a talk on “Knowing Oneself & Growing Oneself” in which each participant was given a set of the five books on behalf of SAS. Meanwhile on May 14 and 28, the workshop topics were “Practical Exercises in Integral Yoga Part I” and “Practical Exercises in Integral Yoga Part II”, respectively.

Programme of Yogasan & Pranayam (every Monday to Saturday)
An hour’s daily programme on Yogasan & Pranayam from Monday to Saturday is being held by Yogacharya Gopal Singh Kathayat at Sri Aurobindo Bhavan, Noida. Around 12 to 15 participants regularly attend the programme.
