On October 24 and 25, 2015, Sri Aurobindo Society’s (SAS) Annual Hindi Region conference, which was attended by 454 representatives from Hindi-speaking states, was conducted in Mathura, UP, the birthplace of Sri Krishna. The primary subject of this conference was ‘Sri Aurobindo Ki Chintan Dhaara Me Shri Krishna’.
The session began with the hoisting of Mother’s flag by Shri Pradeep Narang, Chairman, SAS. On this occasion, students of Amarnath Educational Institution performed a splendid guard of honor and sang ‘Vande Mataram’ to pay obeisance to the Divine Mother. Earlier, the programme began in the Matri Kripa auditorium with meditation and ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the chief guests in front of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
The participants included Shri Pradeep Narang, Shri Vijay K. Poddar, Shri Manoj Sharma, Dr J.P. Singh, Dr Aditya Vajpeyi and the revered Govindanand ji Teerth Maharaj. Shri Pradeep Narang, Shri Manoj Sharma, Dr Aditya Vajpeyi, Dr J.P. Singh and the revered Govindanand Ji Teerth Maharaj addressed the inaugural session while the conference was moderated by Dr Anil Vajpeyi. Ms Jyoti Thanki presented her thoughts on the sub-topic ‘Shri Matri Chetna–Radhaji Se Mataji Tak’ in the first session. Pandit Lalit Kumar ‘Unmukt’ chaired this session and the moderator was Shrutkirti Sharma. The second session on the first day was on the functioning of the organization in which the SAS members from the 10 regional Hindi-speaking states put forth their issues and suggestions to Shri Vijay K. Poddar and Shri Manoj Sharma, Secretary of SAS Hindi Zonal Committee.
