An open workshop was conducted for the senior executives of Schneider Electric, Gurgaon, by Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Integral Management (SAFIM), an initiative of Sri Aurobindo Society, titled ‘Managing Stress through Inner Poise’ on September 9, 2014. Schneider is a European multinational corporation that specializes in electricity distribution, automation management and produces installation components for energy management.
This workshop aimed to provide insights and identify the underlying causes of stress and anxiety in workplaces. Another objective was to explore the guidelines and practice tools that can help cleanse these out, resulting in a stress-free environment in offices and establishing a sustained state of peace in the mind and equanimity in the emotions of all employees, thereby allowing their inner faculties and potentials to unfold unhindered, leading to happier, more fulfilling and meaningful work lives.
All the participants in the workshop exhibited active involvement in group activities and interactive discussions. The activities also involved identifying with nature’s abundance and peace, and therefore to reconnect with higher faculties and rejuvenate.
