Workshop ‘Magic and Logic of Sanskrit’ at Amrita Puri, Kerala
Dr Sampadananda Mishra, Director, Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Indian Culture (SAFIC, an initiative of Sri Aurobindo Society), was invited to conduct a two-day workshop on August 22–23, 2014, at the Amrita Ayurveda College in Amrita Puri, Kerala. The title of the workshop was ‘Magic and Logic of Sanskrit’. This workshop was attended by more than 150 students pursuing their masters and doctorates in Ayurveda in that college. The workshop focused on understanding the power of Sanskrit, Sanskrit alphabet, rhythms of Sanskrit meters, Srimad Bhagavad Gita, system of root sounds and Sanskrit for conversation.
Workshop ‘Power of Mantra, Mind and Memory’ at Gurgaon, Haryana
Dr Sampadananda Mishra, also conducted a two-day workshop, titled ‘Power of Mantra, Mind and Memory’ at the Gnostic Center Gurgaon. The workshop focused on the power of multiple concentration, theory and practice of Mantrayoga, nature of mind and nature of primal sounds. Through various concentration activities the participants could get an experience of double concentration. In the Mantrayoga session, the participants learnt how to recite the Mantras and practice Mantrayoga to silence the mind.
