Sri Aurobindo Society is organizing a children’s camp “Inner Rhythm” for children between 8 and 12 years of age from November 6 to 12, 2017. Designed primarily to serve as a playground for children where they can find their inner rhythm and learn to lead their lives as independent learners and inclusive human beings, the camp will be held at the Society Hall in Puducherry.

Yoga Camp for People With Lifestyle Illnesses

Sri Aurobindo International Institute for Integral Health and Research (SAIIIHR) organized a yoga camp for people with lifestyle illnesses from August 20 to 30, 2017, at the Society Hall, Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry. Twenty participants attended the camp which addressed diseases ranging from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Dyslipidemia to Hypothyroid.

Talk on Message of the Bhagavad Gita

On August 21–22, 2017, SAFIC was invited to the Prestige Institute of Management, Indore, for giving a number of talks on the message of the Gita meant for the students and faculty of the institute. On August 20 and 22, there were sessions on the Gita with the members of the Sri Aurobindo center, Indore. In these sessions, Dr. Mishra highlighted the Gita’s message of karmayoga and self-giving.

SIGNIFICANT DATES

  • Darshan Days

    On these days, there is a collective meditation in the Ashram at 6 am. People can visit Sri Aurobindo's room on all the Darshan days and the Mother's room on every 21 February.

    Besides the mentioned Darshan Days, visit to the Mother’s room is allowed on 17 November and visit to Sri Aurobindo’s room is allowed on 5 December.

  • 1st January
    There is a collective meditation at the Sri Aurobindo Ashram in the morning at 6 am along with music specially composed for this occasion.
